Went to this built in washer today , when you select spin it tumbles normal and then spins for 10 seconds and stops, it then tries this again and after this time the timer will advance to the finish and shut off, i have checked brushes and tacho all ok it has got to be either motor or timer the one with the pcb on top of the timer, but i dont know which one to go for any advise would be helpful. 914880026/01. thanks

I have changed a couple of timers in the past,if testing when empty and it does this, providing the tacho is not lose or damaged then timer is ikely.
Expensive item though as I remember.

Can be an earth leak on the armature, excess carbon on the armature or timer fault. EMW do these timers for a reasonable price.

Common fault with these timers. You need number off timer label (e.g. 514296 is a common one) Then you can ring EMW and get them to send you one on a use or return (small charge) basis.
