Hi hope some one can help , we build narrowboats and have been installing Candy AQW130 washer driers which work very well on the sometimes intermittent 240 volt generated supply. I.E. if the power drops off due to the boat having to slow down the machine would just stop and then restart when power is resumed.Candy have superceded this model with the CNW 136 does it use the same control systems/ programmer etc.
    Thanks Roger

    No, they don’t.

The CNW136 is electronically controlled. It may though “remember” where it is in the cycle, some do and some don’t.

There aren’t many washing machines out there now that have mechanical timers, I’ll do some research for you and get back with my findings.

I’ve checked every washing machine we carry in stock and the only one with a mechanical timer is the Gorenje range.

    Hope this helps.
