    Bosch Classix SGS43A52GB/35

It was subject to the safety repair as per http://www.repairaction.co.uk/ last year. The engineer came out and replaced the controller. All was fine afterwards

A couple of days ago, I went to use it, but switching the power on the “end” and “eco” lights come on (eco was the last programme used), and nothing happens – I presume it still thinks it’s “ended” – no buttons work, no “reset”…

I spoke to Bosch and if it’s the controller it’s still under warranty, but if it’s something else then they’ll charge 89 quid for the call out!

I’ve fixed a few “mechanical” problems with it, but not sure where to start with this – any suggestions on how to narrow it down to whether it’s the controller or not would be good… then I can decide what to do next!

    Thanks for any help…

It does sound like the controller has failed once again though we cannot be sure at this stage if another component within the machine caused it to fail so prematurely. It would be interesting to know what prompted you to get repairaction in to replace it in the first instance, was it faulty then?

Thanks… I might risk calling them out then.

It was a Bosch engineer who came out – they contacted me, it seems a few of them have been catching fire, so they persuaded me to let them come and replace it!
