I have this washing machine, which lately has started a slow dribble from the washing powder dispenser drawer (when the water flushes into the drawer itself), which slides down the left side and leaves a small puddle on the floor. Is there an obvious solution to this – are there seals around the drawer which I could replace – or does it sound like something more serious?

It’s probably just the water jets are partially blocked and sending the water jet forward instead of down.

If you remove the inner drawer and use an old toothbrush/nailbrush to clean the small holes on the upper part where the water enters that should solve it. If not, the upper soap drawer is only about £15 to buy so it’s not too bad to resolve.

Many thanks for the reply. We’ll give it a try and report back! BTW, would we have to contact Bosch direct for a replacement drawer?

You can order on line at http://www.bshappliancecare.co.uk

The part number for the box top is 289674, shows at £10.69 + VAT + P+P.

If you’re not sure what you’re doing, Dave will be able to sort it for you.
