Hi, went out to this today. This is the first of these that I have worked on as it’s just crept out of it’s 2 years guarantee. Customer has reported error E 09. Had a look for a heater and came to the conclusion that it must be a combined heater pump. The wiring to this was 3 mains style red wires with an earth and several grey and purple wires which were much thinner so thought they may be low voltage. I followed the red wires back to the pcb to check for a circuit through what I presumed was the heater but was a bit puzzled as to why there should be 3 red wires feeding a heater rather than 2??
Maybe im barking up the wrong tree with this. I know the previous Bosch dishwashers pretty much inside out but this one is cut from different cloth completely. I suppose we have to start somewhere with todays upgrades in technology.
Any feedback is very very welcome!!!
    Thanks,
    Rob.

E:09 is def a not heating fault….most prob the heat pump . They have ‘foil’ heaters so work differently from the traditional instantaneous water heaters.
    Resistance values – ( reading contacts from motor end ) – contacts 2 – 3 = approx 10/11 ohms
    contacts 3 – 4 = approx 10/11 ohms
    contacts 2 – 4 = approx 19/23 ohms

    hope this helps
