I have an ISE 1606W that has suffered a slight leak from the thin grey plastic vent hose that goes from the dispenser to the top of the outer drum at the rear. This has trickled over the rear suspension unit on that side which is now very noisy.

I should be able to reseal the hose with DEBHOR but just wondered what sort of a job changing a rear sus unit is on one of these, will I be able to do it from the back or will I need the drum out?

    Jim.

must admit to having never changed one. Would have thought possible without drum removal.

Surprised that you have not changed one, that hose does look like a regular potential leak point.

To quote that nice man on the ISE/Asko service video,

” You can easily change the rear suspension units on this machine”. 😀

With the machine leant forward it was a doddle, it helps that the suspension rod does not have a nut on the top holding it in, it just pulls out of the rubber suspension bush. Took longer to get the back off than change it.

The front units would be more of a problem, might be difficult without removing the front panel, especially the one near the pump.

that’ll be the same man who pulls the inner drum out with ease once the rear pulley is off…..the reality of forcing a drum shaft through 2 equal size bearings is somewhat different.
