    Hello everyone ,
    I have an electric Hotpoint oven 6101. It heats up without a problem but , when turning itself off ,after reaching the right temperature , it trips my RCD breaker every time. The breaker also gets tripped if I switch it off manually.
    Where could be the problem ? The grill and grill/fan functions work without any issues. Should I replace oven regulator switch?
    Any advice would be appreciated .

    sounds like thermostat first, not the selector. but its also a smeg, so worth checking for burnt out terminals, melted thermal fuses, before ordering anything

    plug out or isolate from main first before doing ANYTHING.
