    Had a customer ring to say they have bought an element for there baumatic oven ask me to fit. so went today and fit ask them how much they paid for element £6 and showed me the invoice. how can we make any money when connect were charging £16.88 plus vat. think i might use the internet sites no bonus for being loyal

    You can buy anything on the Internet for any price, you can buy a Rolex watch at a sunday market or a grill element at a car boot. There’s loads of spares sold on eBay for peanuts and loads of monkeys buy them but you cannot point the finger at Connect or eSpares as they always, but always sell their spares at or well above market price.

    Did the receipt you saw refer to Connect or eSpares? (I doubt it)

    Bearing in mind we are talking Baumatic here and that says it all. They rebadge crap, sell crap, their service is crap but you can always buy their crap spares using your computermebob or laptopermebob very cheeepsky comrade….!! 😈

    we advise customers we dont warranty the job if they have supplied it ,

    if we supply-fit we give 12 months warranty – as opposed to standard 3 months..

    just make sure you are making decent profit via callout/labour fee..
