    Hi all, some help please.
    My electrolux fridge freezer has stoppped working (model ENB38607x, 31 months old). Firstly the freezer warmed up and then 4 weeks later the fridge the same, both currently at about 12-14 degrees. I have had it turned off for a couple of weeks so have tried the defrost option. If i turn it on now, it clicks about 6-7 times, then makes a whirring noise from, maybe the compressor, then goes dead quiet. Whirring noise sometimes comes on if i leave it on and the compressor does gets warm. I have thought maybe the themrostat but cant find it anywhere, but i can find 2 thermal cut outs and am not sure if these replace the need for a thermostat?

    Sounds more compressor related than thermostat related.
