    Just had an enquiry re Pump for this one – Unable to find any info

    Customer thinks new pump req if anybody can help with details

    this is a standard washing machine with an added outer door to match the retro style FAB fridges so its a high price product that the custome will spend money on.
    pump is 792970179 but would take a look first as the pump filter is hidden unde a kick trim where the customer knows nothing about its existance. more than likely just blocked. Think one of the twist on pump motors should fit if ness.

    After seeing a pink one of these , I thought about changing the model to WTF ..

    Thanks for your response, spoke to customer and she had already ordered one direct from Smeg who quoted 2-3 weeks delivery but asked if I would fit it when it arrived

    mmm…. smeg uk showing they have 8 of those in stock so chances are she has been taken in by one of the web sales compainies using the smeg name in their title rather than smeg themselves.

    Yes Possible but she wont be chasing me for it and will just wait to see if and when she ever phones back.
    I’ve had these before and hate fitting parts that customers purchase, goes wrong after a short while and its not the part at fault but always the way it had been fitted by the engineer
