    Hi,
    I am trying to obtain a replacement bulb for my Whirlpool Arc 103/1 black fridge and am struggling to find which one I need.
    The old bulb has been thrown out (or been put in a safe place somewhere!) so I cannot use that for reference.

    Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

    According to what I can find on a quick look there’s two, which one is it you need?

    Hmm, I have only got one place for a bulb in my fridge. I think it is a candle shaped bulb as that’s the shape of the housing it needs to go it.

    I can’t find a reference as to what bulb it is and the genuine Whirlpool part isa scary price, but if ti’s a US style machine it could be one of these:

    Thanks for looking.
    The fridge is an under counter fridge with no freezer compartment.
    I have googled all sorts of things and even through Whirlpool could only find the 104 not the 103 (maybe a newer version, not sure) and the bulb for that is a silly price as you say!!
    I tried to call the helpline earlier (at a silly price per minute but couldn’t even get on to the hold system so gave up!)

    I will keep looking…

    Hello,

    Well, I ordered the bulb that you suggested but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be the right size. It looks like the bulb I need should be about twice the length with a longer screw fitting than the one that arrived today.

    Do you have any more suggestions please?

    Your lucky day 😀 I have an ARC103 on display. While It has the usual ses thread the shape of the glass is more pear shaped than the usual fridge ones. Part number for the genuine lamp is 481213488085 hence the scary price Ken mentioned earlier.

    You could send an email to Dave spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk in the shop who may be able to help.
