I do more than a fair amount of grumbling about life etc, went to a regular customer today, hadn’t been for a couple of years.
What a horrible disease, struggles even to speak,50 years old.
Still cheerful though but what a tish deal some folks get.

yip does make you think about life when you encounter customers with illness etc ..

gregor my buis partners sister life has just been turned upside down within the past few days … came home from work with sore head – rapidly spread to numbness in arm then leg and finally speech,

rushed to hospital where initially they though minor stroke,
after tests done they changed mind not a stroke they dont know what …

more tests /scans – upshot internal bleeding in the brain – causing build up of blood in an area that surgeons cant operate or if they do very slim chance of success , left alone she will be paralysed down left side , they are trying anti swelling drugs etc which seem to working slightly – but cant guarantee bleeding will stop ..

so on monday – usual working day – monday night sore head
fast forward 2-3 days and her life choices are

    if bleeding stops
1 her choice to let surgeons operate with slim chance of survival and no guarantee of use of leg- arm etc ..

2 get on with life as best as she can without use of left side and hope bleeding stops ..

3 a forced operation if bleeding doesnt stop ..

and heres the stinger …. all this caused by ……..

a minor car accident last December – a car ran into back of her causing her head to bang on side pillar …

very minor accident with no other problems apart from bump on head .. she did go to doctors at the time , needless to say doctor said nothing to worry about ..

this does put a few things into perspective ..
