    I want to know the power consumption (in kW) of an INDESIT IDC 75 tumble drier.

    The info is not in the user guide (which says 4.48 kWH/cycle but of course that is not the same as the rate which power is used) http://www.indesit.co.uk/_pdf/booklets/02/44/19507503300_UK.pdf

    Believe it or not but the tumble drier has been fitted such that it won’t come out without damaging the woodwork. This means I can’t see the specification plate at the rear.

    Can anyone tell me what power consumption this appliance uses.

    Hi smarko

    From the info I can find it’s rated at 2.7kw, which seems about right as you can only connect an appliance with a maximum rating of 3kw into a 13A socket.

    Just as an aside If your machine ever needs attention by an engineer it would be wise to uninstall it yourself first :rolls:
