Hotpoint iWDE126

Went to this machine all lights flashing- after some checks changed the dryer element which solved the problem,the customer has be using it for a few days using washer only no problem, after using the dryer for the first time worked fine at first, now the orginal fault has occured, has anyone come accross this type of problem before please.
just a note the machine is installed on a housboat, there is no damp!!and in a very tight space and enclosed in a cupboard.
