    The fan on my Smeg cooker (SUK62MFX5) is making a very loud grating noise and I have been told that it requires a new fan motor. I have been unable to find a listing for either the oven or the required motor on the The Smeg spares site.

    I have found a non-Smeg “universal” fan which it is claimed will fit most ovens but am not sure if it will fit mine.

    Any help on finding and fitting a suitable part(s) would be appreciated.

    Could it be that the fan blade has simply become misaligned?
