Where can I get a lower oven door hinge block for a Homark double oven 600160 please?What price could I expect?
And what would be quickest delivery? (oven is pulled apart on our kitchen floor at the moment!!) 🙄

Depends on stock, if they are in stock then the fastest way is Royal Mail Special Delivery, not guaranteed Saturday delivery but I’ve rarely see it fail to get to the customer on a Saturday when despatched on a Friday. 😉
I take it by hinge block you mean the hinge reciever on the oven and not the door hinge, on the door? Irrespective I would always advise you to replace both as is one’s gone the other is almost sure to be on it’s way out as well. More often than not we’d just replace the hinges and recievers and be done with the problem totally.

Thanks for quick replyYes, it is the hinge receiver I am after. I’ve checked both the hinges and both are identical in shape and strength. The runner on the hinge receiver has been shattered, and probably a long time ago, because the door has been harder and harder to shut. In fact it may have been done several years ago when i took the door off to clear the entire oven – and probably put it back on incorrectly! 😳
Do you supply the hinge receiver Keith and if so what price would it be please? And how do i order it from you?

I can’t find 600160 listed anywhere, only the 600100 which I doubt is the same cooker.
Hopefully Woz may be able to help as he used to work for Caremark, I’ll ask him to look in to it 🙂
You may have a wait of a few days on this one I’m afraid, it’s very unlikely anyone will have these in stock 🙁

Not looking too good i’m afraid the 600160 went obsolete over 10 years ago, so i’d say getting spares are damn near impossible.
It was made by the old old Ocean SPA before it was taken over by Elektra and again by Group Brandt.
It’s that old i’m afraid i can’t even find the correct number.
If you post a photo on this site somebody may have some lying dusty on shelf “just in case”

Better news – I foind the old handbook and it gave a number for Caremark – 0942 815311. This has now been changed to 08707502435. 😮Futher good news – they had a female hinge receiver part 77×6696 🙂
Even better news – onlt £21 including delivery and vat 😀
Bad news – 5-7 days delivery 🙁
Worse News – unfortunately they can’t accept money for overnight delivery

Even worse news – can’t even drive over to Bolton to pick it up because they don’t allow it (???). 😯So – does anyone know where I can get part 77×6696 female hinge immediately please?? (including me having to go drive to pick it up if necessary!!!

The chances of getting one off the shelf anywhere are minimul to say the least Bill.
I checked with Brandt who are the manufacturers and they have stock of that part number (in France), same price, may be a little quicker as we are agents for them, but it will still be 3-5 working days before you get it.
