we have been suffering the gritty plates and glasses I have carried out the following cleaned filters etc
cleaned the Matrix [flat plastic with integral tubes as top left resevoir gunged up]
cleaned plastic part in centre with microswitches
machined worked and cleaned but now seems to get stuck and inlet water pulses
micro switch with two wires I put back on top two spades with white wire to top spade when switch makes pump starts
micro switch with three spade white wire to top when make switch pumps out water.
I cannot be far of repairing this but why dose it seem to stick and all that happens is the pump pulses and the machine remains dry.
when it happens i manually make the 2 spade switch and it seem to clear have I not reassembled it correctly?
    thank you in anticipation

    DWF??,
There are more than dozen different DWF models, some the decent, well made Bosch based machines, some the later ones which are Indesit made. :rolls:

If it wasnt sticking and pulsing before repair then logically it would seem you have put it back together differently to what it was. I dont know the wiring off the top of my head but i dont think Im allowed to say even if I did. Not much help really, sorry.

Yes, that seems to be the general consensus of opinion with us here in the trade my friend. What I cannot fathom is why you have failed to locate the microswitch connector blocks incorrectly in the first place? They only go on one way as a rule, the top connector block in the loom goes to the top microswitch, the bottom connector on the lower microswitch….simples! 😕
