    Have the above dryer, still going strong after about 14 years! However, it did stop heating yesterday, reset fine, seemed to test out ok, good clean inside and put back together, scratch head, drink tea etc. 😕

    Switched it back on as a final attempt, works perfectly! However, I am concerned about the temperature of the back of the appliance when running, it gets too hot to touch. Can anyone advise if this is normal please? 🙂

    They do get hot as the heater is close to the panel. I would check for blockages though make sure there’s plenty of air coming out of the exhaust hose and that if the hose goes through the wall make sure the vent isn’t blocked or stuck closed.
