Participant2 Q’S please
1.found kitchen floor v.wet -could see drip from under fridge. pulled out and tray underneath was overflowing. How can this happen? Tray too small? Temp set at 2 degrees in fridge, -18 freezer. Should we adjust temp?
2. Fridge stopped cooling-went up to 23 degrees 😥 Engineer puzzled, no fault code, he said was like ‘demo mode’.Got working but won’t stay at 3 degrees.4 & 5 usually Liebherr UK (coolectric)have no technical support to help. Small amount water gathering under bottom biofresh tray in fridge. 😥Many thanks. Fridge looks great- but many problems it seems.

Hi
Tray is where the unit is defrosting the evaperator too quickly normally,.The evaperator sensor would normally be the culprit for the fault you’ve got.

It may be the evaporator sensor- thanks. Why would I also have water collecting under the bottom biofresh drawer? It finds it’s way out on to the floor. Thanks

Hi
The water may be due to a blocked drain but that may just be a side fault to your non cooling

Hi Bryan, the engineer emptied the tray (underneath) with a syringe- that was 2 weeks ago and now it is too full again and leaking (again).
Before I order an evaporator sensor, I thought I’d check (I see you are in Luton)if you know of any engineers in London/Essex who KNOW these Liebherrs, as my local guy doesn’t seem to have seen many of these and he says there is no technical support for him at Coolectric. It would be good to get someone to look at it who is aware of the problems with these fridge freezers.
Thanks very much for your time.February 29, 2012 at 10:17 pm #369427admin
