    Hi,
I have a Zanussi ZFK 47/52 RF Fridge Freezer, about 10 years old. Worked fine until this morning when it tripped the RCD in my consumer unit. Tripping immediately when plugged in
Took the top off and there is a white control unit top left hand corner at the back, which I believe is the defrost timer? Unplugged the brown outgoing wire on terminal 2 and now the power stays on when plugged in and seems to run ok.
I presume I have a dodgy defrost heater? Is this likely to be correct?
Any idea where it is, part number, how to change it?
    Cheers,
    Alan.

Yes there is only two reasons why this would trip and thats the element or compressor so given that you disconnected the element and runs it has to be the element . You need to remove the draws and then the internal rear panel which will then exspose the evaporator and element assy . not a big job .

Thanks. I’ve ordered one on the internet. I’ll post back if it works. Fridge has ran ok since yesterday morning so I hope thats it.
