Not worked on this model before and being all black in a dim kitchen fazed me a bit as well as not recognising the layout 😳
Switch it on and the check water and rinse aid flash continuously. When reset it grumbles underneath for a second then the same again. Checked there’s no water in the base and meggers ok but other than this I don’t know where to start with it. any pointers 😳
If it only grumbles for a second then check the drain pump – it should read approx 90 Ohms between each pair of the 3 contacts (3 phase delta wound motor), apparently the board measures the resistance of the pump while it is running to tell if it is blocked etc.
I guess it is similar to the machine in this thread which contains various resistance values that you may or may not find helpful.

That usually indicates a module communication error between display and power module. Unplugging the power cord for a few seconds may clear the prob but I doubt it. (Boards are expensive)
Sorry for late reply. Its out of guarantee, but as i’ve now seen a pic of this model (in the dark) and being a black appliance I didn’t realise there was a display on it. There isn’t a flicker from the display or any other indicators on it so I’m with Martian on this one. Ta for the replies gents.
