I require a control switch for a Zannusi ceramic hob. I have been told the hob is a Tricity one badged as Zanussi and that the part no I require is 5724903212009

Tom, you say you want the control switch, the part number you have posted is the knob, can you confirm ?

It is the switch I require. The hob is Zanussi Model No VB 1005RB

In that case you want part number 5724903202000 which is still available 😀
The only drawback is the price at £47.42 inc VAT 😯
It’s probably made by EGO, if you can post up the numbers from the switch itself there may be a cheaper alternative.

The switch is indeed an EGO II all the numbers I can see are on the plastic cover on the inside 525.174 and on the outside beside all the approvals 12/240~NI T 150.
Does this help in identifing an alternative if not where could I get an original?

There should be another longer number on it than that.
Check the other three as they are all the same, otherwise, I can order/supply the genuine one, drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk
