w/knight condenser dryer 031276715000 has a reset stat on rear that is cutting out after about 40 mins and has to be reset, no blockage etc theres another stat next to rest one could it be this?

i would say it was the thermostat next to the cut out one but i would normally change both.

One stat is to regulate the temp and one is overheat. If the temp is not regulated it will overheat.
