Been to look at a HPT9901 washer dryer, seems to have been overloaded, front of tub has broken 4 switch bank on front of machine, motor not turning anymore, tests o.k, brushes o.k, old type motor with 6 pins 3 top & 3 bottom, i’ve got a cable in the van for years that i can plug onto motor & check on full speed, works o.k, anyone know if this board being busted will revent any motor action, i reckoned it would be like rinse hold problem only??

    Any help,
    ta in advance,

You are correct in the assumption that the broken switch bank PCB won’t effect motor action.

It’s quite likely that’s been broken for months, probably the main module as this was the norm with these, small hole in door boot on the right where it rubs the door interlock and splashes on to the module.

    Dave.

Thanks Dave, i’ll tell the old lady that it’s gonna be B.E.R, but she’s kinda attached to the old thing & even has a name on it “Gemima” Honest!
