ParticipantI can find the red spot toc on Connect but I want the one for the lower(main) oven which has no spot on it but is the same form (simple enclosed bimetal circular w. 2 tags).
Old one looks like one of those pattern t/dryer stats from Mpt with the temp printed on the face. Only this one just has
R23V
14505
09811
printed on its face.
Two grey wires go to it.
Hope someone can help.
The one with the red spot was on the back of the top (small) oven.

Bump.
Bought one off ebay with part number 210110544. The picture showed no red spot and no wires with it. It arrives and it has the red spot and wires 😡 . Part no. on bag is 4410101001.
I have also read in UKW parts shop that there is some kind of modification involved and there is a new version of the stat. This doesn’t help me much if they are still referring to the red spot stat though.
I am beginning to question my own sanity. Well, actually other people began to question it quite a long time ago but anyway, did I really see two separate stats on this machine or was I imagining it?

4410101001 is the correct part number and attached mod files

Thanks Chris, that is helpful but I am afraid it still leaves me confused.
It does confirm that there are two stats so at least I am regaining some of my sanity. However, the original main oven stat has no red spot whilst the top oven one has a red spot. I think this suggests that they are not the same stat and not interchangeable.
Does anyone have a number I can call for Beko, Leisure or Stoves perhaps?

On the parts listing for this cooker it lists the stats for both the top and bottom ovens under the same part number. The last couple of stats that I have fitted have both been different, one was with a black line on it and the other was just plain without any markings at all.

I have emailed Leisure via their website explaining clearly my concerns. In the morning, when they open again, I’ll try a call to “our engineers” 🙂 0845 600 4916.
My guess is the stats are all about the same temperature and they didn’t want to spend money sourcing a precise equivalent when the lower oven one went NLA at their suppliers. But I’m not taking risks with my customers’ lives until I have confirmation from them in writing. That way, anything goes wrong I can prove it ain’t my fault!

😀 I have an email from Robert Dymond at Beko Technical Support.
He states that the red spot stat in 4410101001 is correct for both ovens, upper and lower.
Another plus for Beko appliances. Very helpful people.
The 0845 600 4916 number was exserve.co.uk and they were also very helpful and sent me some more PDFs 😀
The reason for the new wiring with the replacement stat turns out to be that it was conceived to replace 263900001 “thermic cut-out” which was an in-line microtemp type.
Nice to have this cleared up so quickly. How many other makes would be so friendly?

Mike.Been back today.
The above statement appears to have been my imagination 😳 .
Neither stat had any colour spot. (The top one did have red wires going to it which I suppose is a partial vindication. :cough:) It also emerged that the fault occurred following a power cut. (Fan stops > overheat presumably.)
Strangely enough the left rear hob which had also been inoperative and the hob indicator lamp also sprang back into life after replacing the cut-out 😕 .I am now looked upon by this customer as some sort of demi-god 8).
Trouble is they’ll no doubt be ringing me up to ask if I can repair tablets next :rolls: .
