    anyone else had major hassle changing thermocouple on grill on this cooker ..

    i have loads recently , there seem to be a 2-3 thermocouples that fit ,

    some you fit and work ok – other i havent managed to get them to work ..

    sensor is sitting in flame ok – other end connected to gas valve ok – ive changed the valve also on some still same prob

    ie gas comes through – will ignite but as soon as toy take hand of grill knob flame goes out ..


    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    any one got any ideas … or part number so i can check against what ive been fitting

    Hi Ally,

    The thermocouple on this is connected to a door micro switch for the grill, has your thermocouple got 2 spade connectors on it??

    hi john , yes its got the spades going to micro switch , did try and by pass switch but no difference ..

    any ideas

    I fitted a couple of these in the last six months and one did fail after about two weeks so I assume the quality of these is a bit suspect…

    What part number are you using , ive got BEK430930001

    im beginning to think they dont screw up properly @ valve

    That part number is the same as the one I used.

    cheers weve had about 6 this month , pain in the backside to do then they dont work …
