ModeratorCustomer on phone says belt has snapped, I need the part number if possible.
He has given me two model numbers, its either a CL77W or a CL77AW condensor dryer ❓
TIA.
Jim.

Ask him for the 0312 Number to be sure, but…
If it’s a 77AW, 42130921950.

We appreciate your input Jim but most of us here are longer in the tooth than you can ever imagine in that regard. 🙂

Thanks for input lads, the reason I asked was to save me the time and expense of actually driving out to it to see the belt in the first place. Also it is not uncommon for the numbers to have rubbed off anyway. 😉
TBH I am hoping he rings back and says that the people responsible for the repair on this 8 month old machine are going to pull their fingers out and sort it for him. Mind you thats what you get for buying from Direct Discounts, people think that everything they sell is brand new, you would think the fact that it was delivered wrapped in cling film might have given the game away. :rolls:
Only done one belt change on a White Knight condensor T/D and it was a pig of a job. 🙁

You’re spot on its all the wee tips and tricks picked up through a lifetime of trial and error that makes this job so much easier its an absolute fool that makes the statement I know all there is to know for to date I’ve never met anyone who does . The information you can pick up here from the extremely competent and experienced engineers who post regularly is invaluable. I only stumbled across this site a few months ago and after 20 years of grafting for manufacturers and doing countless courses I’ve still learned shed loads of fantastic practical advise from the guys on here who quite simply have been there and done that !
