    Hi All I looked at this fairly new machine as the customer had reported a broken door lock, went along armed with the lock but no luck im afraid the “Door Security” light flashes constantly and the door will not fasten. I have power going to the door lock and a resistance check shows it to be operating.

    I am thinking a faulty module but am i missing something obvious?

    Me too, if the interlock were at fault an Error 7 would show on the display. Time to look closely at the coreboard and also heaters are notorious troublemakers on these beasts. 😉

    Thanks Martin, turns out the machine is under warranty so i have Hoover coming to look at it.

    If i find out what was up i will post it here.

    it will most certainly be the board. had two like this despite meggering everything in sight. mind you board wasnt bad at about £45 configured.
