ParticipantHi
Looks of hair pulling out on this one.
Door locks and programme starts with clock counting down but there is no fill, pump or motor action.
will abort after a while with check water then F01.I carry a spare board for these so I thought no problem fit the board and all will be well 😀
No so lucky board fitted with the same result 🙁
There are no signs of damage to the boards and the wiring is good to the motor from module.
Any advice??? Am I looking at a possible motor fault ( induction type)??

Well been back to day with another module and it is no different. tried new motor with no luck. checked wiring between motor. upper module, heater and pump.
Door will lock and will start programme. there is live to valves, motor and pump but no neutral which is controlled by the module.
Has anyone had this before or got any ideas as I have run out

Thank you for your repply
I Checked the plug at the time and all is ok but it does not rule out the door lock itself.Other than that I back to the upper module 😕

How did this pan out, I have the same problem and am on my second emw board the first one worked for two weeks and then gave the same fault of not starting programmes so EMW checked the pcb and sent it back as tested and it went half a wash before reverting back to not starting programmes….motor is fine with no earth leakage and door lock seems fine…any info on the outcome would be appreciated.

Hi
I took the upper panel to another machine that I was putting bearings in and it worked ok with that one. Sent module back to EMW and they sent me a completly different one which has worked no problem. I also retighted all the connections on the module as well.
Hope you manage to sort yoursGeoff

Thanks Geoff, I am still pinning my hopes on the module and may ask for a different pcb and not a repair from EMW, thanks again for the help I REALLY appreciate it.
