    Hi , i’m a repairer trying to locate a part for an ocean fr/fz.
    I’d like to know where to get a fr. stat…the appliance is a frost free so air temp rather than evap temp control is required.
    I’ve repaired a few of these badged creda, matsui and hotpoint but can’t for the life of me remember equivalent model no’s. Brandt are no help in terms of speed of supply either.
    If you don’t know any of the equivalent model no’s, i wonder if you would know the ranco spec to get it from other sources?
    Speed is of the essence for me here, customer breathing down my neck as his wife is very ill!!!

    Thanks Dave….if you can let me know the part number i’ll order from washvac or electrue. (I have accounts with both)

    It’s 45X1279. The Creda alternative looks like 2501199 which appears to be a damper thermostat.
