I had a couple of phone calls today about E-Jobs where it appears that the concept isn’t fully understood so I’ll try and make it as clear as possible. This isn’t overkill or trying to hammer a message across just a brief expanantion of what it is all about.

Customers looking on the internet to find a repairer in their area may well come across UKW, so to take advantage of this and enable the potential customer to make contact with a repairer in their area we though of an online solution.

This would mean that the customer would fill in an online form with their details, appliance type and fault etc, the relevent engineer that covered that area would then get an email with those details on it, make contact and hopefully gain a chargeable call from it.

Sounds simple, well it is really, the hard part was getting the software done, but that’s pretty much ready now.

All we need are the postcodes you cover, the appliances you repair, company details etc filled in on the form in the downloads section.

This is a totally free service to UKW trade members, there’s no contract work, purely chargeable customers that are looking on the net for an engineer.

If there’s any questions you want answered you can post them here or PM me and I’ll try and answer as best I can.

    Dave.

I forgot to mention, the form is in PDF format, if you can’t open or view it, you can download the free programme here:

    The form itself is here
