BlockedI’ve had a few conversations over the past few days (Some verbal, some TXT) with people that have been dropped by Repaircare (As in on the spot, no notice etc, accounts blocked).
They have questions that I can’t answer, but…
Is the WTA in a position to talk to the affected WTA Members, contact WP’s on behalf of the affected WTA Members and fight for affected WTA Members with regards to their rights and dues? If so, can I refer any WTA Member that speaks to me about these issues directly to the WTA without them having to post here in ‘Public’?
After all… The WTA are there to represent the Independent…

All questions from paid up members of the WTA should be sent to the Chairman Lawrence Carey who will after consultation decide if the WTA can help. His email is – lcarey@whitegoodstradeassoication.org

Haha!… We talk openly about everything else… Why not this?
Or are Mods now taking ownership of the WTA Forums?
The reason I posted this is that people might NOT want to make themselves known???!!!

What do you want or expect the WTA to do?

Ade,
You have stated in your post that some people might not want to be identified in this trade forum and would wish to have a confidential dialogue with the WTA. My post clearly gives these people a contact.
As neither you nor I are members of the WTA committee I would suggest you leave it to them to decide.

I’m simply asking if the WTA will fight for its members that have been dropped by RC?

Adrian can no longer reply as he has asked that I remove him from the WTA due to issues over his membership.
I am sorry but I cannot go into why at this point in time as it is a personal matter with Adrian.

Why would he ask to be removed? I dont understand this at all, as i would like to know also if the WTA is able to offer assistance.

You will have to ask Adrian on that I’m afraid and whether he wishes to share the reasons.
As to the WTA assisting, I believe that it is under discussion but it’s not a question that’s been asked before.

You can but try 8)
But regarding the RC subject, I’m sure an email to Lawrence will get you an answer.

Sorry DrDill, it’s a personal matter for Adrian and I cannot discuss it in a public forum without consent or a very compelling reason to do so. Obviously I have to direct you to ask Adrian for his comments.
