Fisher & Paykel smartdrive MW059NZ lights on but no one home

Hello good folk,
Not sure if this should be in Austr Appl forum or the washing machine one so I’ve copied it here:

My main issue is that I’ve filled her up and the Leds are all shining and then I press start and… nothing. Not even a noise. Sometimes in the past she’s managed to randomly kick into gear 20 minutes later, but no longer. In the past often got stuck around rinse and then spin – signalling imbalance (although this happened virtually every time so she was mega touchy).
Now nothing except lights.
In diagnostic mode there’s an error code:00100100 = 36 “Water leak fault”? (Siphoning? – the outlet hose comes over the top of nearby tub at the height of the top of machine and then down into sink…) I don’t know how much this relates to the no-starting problem.
