Customer has just phoned about this machine. Its in a dentists in a rather difficult to park area in the town centre so have not yet been out to it.

He says it sticks all the way through the cycle, fill, washes then sticks, if he then clicks it on one click it moves again then sticks.
He has to repeat this all the way through including rinse & spin cycles.

Does this point to a control timer fault, if so does anyone know the part number/price of the timer for this machine?

    TIA.
    Jim.

I very much doubt it is a timer problem (Part No 481931039725 – around £75) TBH.

    The usual suspects:

    Blocked sump hose
    Open circuit heater
    Air chamber gunged
    Motor brushes.

    HTH? 😀

    Thanks Martin,

I can understand a heater stopping it during the wash cycles but not the final spin?

Apparently it does actually spin perfectly once clicked onto spin which should rule out the brushes and blocked sump hose.

I’d go straight to the sump hose, I expect it’s full of old teeth and amalgam. 😛

Went to this machine this morning, of course he forgot to mention that when it stuck he could hear water running.

No prizes for guessing what was wrong. :rolls:

All cured with a plastic hook former. 8)
