Whirlpool Dishwasher Problem

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher model number 6adp951wh which has been a great dishwasher for our family. However of late it goes through its cycle, first fills with water then does first wash and heats up water. Drains then starts second wash sometimes it drains again then stops and the start light flashes. if I wait then I can empty by hold button till the PS4 led flashes and it empties. it doesn’t seem to be heat the plates to dry them, just the start light blinks then that’s it. Just wont complete the cycle. Any ideas? I had the cover from underneath off to check for leaks while its running and I cant see any.
