We have a SGS53A02GB/27 Bosch dishwasher (2 years old) and its stopped draining. The pressure chamber on the LHS wasn’t filling properly. I thought I had solved the problem as there was a leak in the gasket between the sump and the motor (which I replaced). the pressure chamber seems to fill properly now but it still finishes the cycle with dirty water at the bottom (inside) of the washer. I also suspect that the timer sometimes plays up as when putting it on to a longer wash I think it jumps, but I can’t be certain of this as I haven’t sat next to it for the 1.5 to 2 hours it takes to go through a cycle. I have checked for kinks and blockages. As a last thing I know it’s not a major part failure as when I depress the micro switch on the float chamber it does drain the water away.

I’m not sure if you are aware Tom of the recall notice on your Bosch machine? If not then you are well advised to go to their website HERE and get it sorted. 😀

    Hi Martin

Thanks for the speedy reply. I’ve contacted Bosch and they are sending an engineer round in a couple of weeks! Not sure if what’s wrong with mine has anything to do with it being recalled, but I thought it was worth seeing what the engineer says when he comes.

I’ll try and remember and contact the forum again after he’s been and tell you how it all panned out.

    Regards

    Hi Martin

The engineer arrived today and replaced the control panel (He said if it hadn’t been a recall it would have cost me £200). It now works!! Hurrah.

Thanks once again for pointing us in the right direction.

    Regards

    Tom 😀
