    Help my Candy GrandO washing machine Door security Led keeps flashing, there was a spark when i turn the programme knob and now the Door Security Led flash and the door will not lock, had this machine just over a year and was working fine before this happened.

    anything that goes flash is normally big problems

    my guess is the door lock has failed and taken out the programmer but i hope to be wrong

    at under 2 years old this machine could be described as unmerchantable quality and not fit for the purpose as a reasonable person would expect an appliance of this type to last longer than this
    look up guarentees on google in particular sales of goods act
    then approach the retailer as your contract is with them. do not let them fob you off to the manufacturer as the retailer has ultimate responsibility
