if the water valves switch off when you unplug the machine they are working ok.

have you done a full insulation check on the motor and heater ?, if they are ok i would presume its the selector switch or the pcb.
Does it show any fault code ?.

both e02 and e04 relate to over filling problems, if the appliance is disconnected from the mains the valves should stop filling.

yeh it is over filling .is that more likely to be pcb or pressure switch ?cant understand why it wouldnt cancel and switched off tho ?

    Re: hoover washer optima oph714d

back to the basics, no power to fill valve it shuts off unless it it blocked open by debris in the valve,
    fill valves normally fail safe.

please insulation check the appliance after you have checked the fill valve operation is correct.
