I have had a Bosch Classixx dishwasher SGS55CO2GB for under four years.

Last year, I had a problem where the machine seemed to start and finish the programme but left dirty dishes. The sound of the running machine seemed to be continually interrupted by draining noises. When i opened the door midcycle the clock would add on a substantial amount of time to the cycle – then it would just go on until ‘1’ when it seemed to get stuck and i would have to manually turn it off. There was a very small amount of water in the bottom of the machine.

I thoroughly cleaned the machine. Took the filters out and checked nothing was blocking it and used a limescale product. This seemed to revive the machine – though I can’t say it has worked 100 per cent effectively since.

Now, the exact same problem has returned. I have done all of the above but it hasn’t fixed it. Am tempted to get a new one – but it doesn’t seem right to do this when it is just four years old. Have you any ideas what is wrong? Many thanks for your help

    Bosch Classixx problem

Well worth repairing , just going to be scaled up or blocked up with fats etc in sump/ fill chamber. Call local tech should be able to fix for just there labour rate.

    Re: Bosch Classixx problem

Many thanks for your advice – had bought a rather expensive cleaning product called HG machinery service repair hoping it would clear any blockages but it didn’t do the trick. Will call someone out.
