    ISE 10 (1607W) machine is a few months old now and recently has started to make an annoying whining noise during the washing cycle. It’s usually 20 or 30 mins into a normal wash, and the whining noise is while the drum is not moving, it stops while the drum moves then starts up again when the drum stops.

    Time for a service call or something I can check?

    I’m struggling to work out how any machine would make a noise when not moving unless you’re hearing the heater but that’s hardly noisy.

    Hi kwatt.
    My guess was the heater too but I’ve never heard one before. I can hear the noise in the next room (with the door closed) over the noise of the tv – that can’t be right can it?
