    Help!!! my servis m6856w died yesterday, wouldn’t spin. Tried a new cycle and whilst the machine filled, there was nothing from the drum i.e. no noise, no motion. The belt is OK and it doesn’t smell as if it has burned out. Anyway of testing motor and pcb to find which has failed?

    Classic symptoms of carbon brush failure.Unplug the machine and have a good look at the motor brushes.
