Hotpoint dfd784 constantly filling with water
Turn on at Mains select any program push start water comes in and don’t stop pump cuts in to waste
Keeps going when turned off only way to stop is to open door or pull out plug
Would this be a board fault ?

It does sound like a pcb failure, Indesit made machines a noted for having some of the worst electronics on the market.
A new PCB needs to be programmed, Indesit’s own engineers use the company supplied laptop.
If you want to do it yourself you will need the PCB, £65 to £70 approx, ‘one use only’ smartcard, £16 approx, oh nearly forgot, you will also need a card reader for the card at around £100. 🙁

Not everyone, however, a really good dishwasher would have cost you more than you paid for yours 20 years ago, and stand a good chance of still being around today. It follows that if you pay that same amount of money today then it will be of vastly inferior quality.
