AEG T/Dryer noisy??

    I was actually repairing this customers washing machine this afternoon.

    She mentioned that her dryer sometimes made a squealing, scraping sort of noise but didn’t do it all the time.

    I popped it on for the 35 minutes I was there and it was as quiet as you would wish any dryer to be. Had to get off to my next call so asked her to let me know if it happened again.

    Not had many noise problems on these, anything known?

    most likely to be the belt tension pulley,
    its the standard wide zanussi one.
