    Hi
I have had the Bosch SGS69L12GB/01 for a few years now and the control panel has cracked. Has anyone got a spare one from a machine they are breaking for spares etc Or point me in the right direction. Bosch want silly money !! 😯
    .

Any help welcome. The machine is in white.

    Cheers 😀

You’ve got more chance of winning the jackpot on Euromillions!

Only 2 possible options open to you I reckon: –

    1) Stump up the £95 for a replacement
    2) Glue it back together (epoxy resin glue is best I find. 😉 )

    Thanks Martin
Bosch not intersted in any good will gesture what so ever. In all fairness the part is a piece of moulded plastic that should be no more than £15. They price their parts in total disportionment to their value which undermines the brand big time. The machine is top of line and is just under 4 years old. Buyer be beware !!

I am of to garage to buy a lottery ticket.

Did yours break too ? Bosch said not a problem with this machine and tried to pass off as how it was used.

Keep em peeled if any one has a unit for spares..;)

    Cheers

Sorry to say but have to agree with Bosch on this. Users tend to grab at the door handle and yank it upward instead of out and downward. So the majority of broken fascia panels I have had to replace over the years have been for exactly that reason.

What are classed in the trade as ‘appearance parts’ are notoriously expensive overall. Bosch, as you have discovered, are no exception. 🙁
