    WAE2416S GB/12
    From top, lights 1-3-5 flashing on any setting. A quick visual shows nothing obvious.

    This customer rang me yesterday because of a noise and non drain. I advised on checking pump filter.

    She found a 5p coin in filter and when she tried it again it was stuck like this. She had not pulled the machine out or tilted it in any way.

    All suggestions welcome.

    Can’t tell you what the error code is off the top of my head. But did you get her to try the reset procedure? (The 6 oclock positon whilst holding spin button blah blah blah.)

    Finally found some threads, put Bosch+reset in the search…nothing. 🙁

    A bit of lateral thinking, put 6 0’clock in search and bingo. 😀

    Looks like it may have a motor /brush problem.

    AARGH,

    Went back to this machine this morning, brushes totally gone, replaced, checked motor circuits and refitted.

    I have tried both methods of resetting mentioned HERE to no avail. I cannot get it to reset, has it goosed the PCB or is there something else I can try?

    Not that I know of. I must admit though Ive never managed to reset first time on any Ive done, its finger trouble on my behalf. I would assume if it dosent reset it must be the module.

    Disconnect the motor plug THEN carry out the reset procedure. Reconnect the motor plug and with a bit of luck and a following wind it should now work. 😀

    Sorted. 😀

    Unplugged motor and after several attempts using all the various suggested reset options it cleared using the 6/7 o’clock method at the third attempt.
