ParticipantHullo, I might buy one of these but, as it will be sited in a tiny utility room with only just enough space to open the washing machine’s door, I am wondering how far beyond 90 degrees the door is able to swing. My concern is about being able to get past the open door to load and unload. Thanks for any help.

Because the door is mounted on the actual tub unit it is recessed inside and it cannot be opened to 180? like some can. But, it also doesn’t have a huge hunk of glass sticking out either. 😉
To be honest, it space is that tight then you’d likely have an issue regardless of what washing machine you put it one way or another as it sounds really tight.

Thanks kwatt. It’s a temporary siting for the machine but, from the back of an existing appliance in the same place, I have 1050mm to play with. The specs say that when the door is open, the overall depth is 955mm. It should be enough, albeit a bit of a squeeze, but if the door opens beyond 90 degrees so much the better. Do you know the depth with the door fully open? Thanks again

No problem.
From memory and, it is from memory as I couldn’t check until Tuesday for sure, I think that’s the depth with the door at 90? to the machine so it’s the widest that it ever opens. The reason for it is to ensue that people know how deep the machine is at the max with the door as open as possible. If that makes sense.

That makes sense but I’d be grateful for confirmation of the back to front dimension when the door is at 90 degrees and also when it is open to its full extent, i.e. opening it as far back beyond 90 degrees as possible. I appreciate this will probably have to wait until Tuesday.
I’d also be grateful for confirmation that there are no parts that protrude beyond the back of the top surface of the machine.
Thanks again

The door has a two stage hinge operation.
In these pictures, at position 2 ( first picture )the door handle is approx 31cm from the front panel of the machine. This is the farthest the door will open.In postion 1 ( second picture ) it is a fraction more, approx 33cm.
There are no parts protruding beyond the top, only the position of your plumbing could prevent the machine from going back any further.

Thank you both, that’s just the information I need – and thanks for taking those two photos iadom – makes it very clear. Assuming there is someone who can supply, install and maintain in the N5 area of London, I shall place an order.
