Hi my Aeg fridge freezer fridge is freezing up and the control panel at the top has a whtie square instead of a number in it. Could someone please tell me which part I will need to fix it.? Many thanks

The only AEG fridge and freezer fault codes I’ve come across to date are these ones:

It won’t tell you what part to replace though, it’ll tell you where to start looking for a problem and that’s about all.

Hi I have just been told it is the evaporator sensor.How do I start to repair that.?

With difficulty as you need to get to it and that involves stripping out the back of the freezer and knowing what you’re looking for.
What’s the PNC number of the fridge freezer?

There are three sensors used, you need to know which one as there are differences between them.
Two are on the back wall of the fridge, one in the freezer.
The evap sensor is listed as this one but that is the lower fridge one, not in the freezer. The other two appear to be air temperature sensors.
That one however we have used and seems to be the only one we’ve seen trouble with. It’s mounted at the bottom of the fridge but I don’t know how as I’ve never had call to look at one.
