Went to this machine, with error code E30. Checked filter which was blocked. Checked brushes which were worn, changed these. Selected rinse and spin program, machine filled but as soon as the motor should have turned Error E30 displayed. Selected spin, machine drained but when motor rotation should have occured again E30 displayed. Changed motor same fault. No visible burn marks on PCB the one where the motor loom clips on. Any ideas??

    Taff,

Don’t think it has one actually 😕

I suspect as in most cases the motor fault* has blown the triac in the Power module (1603283) especially if it is the earlier version with the big transformer soldered on 😉

    * If the insulation reading of the old armature goes higher than 4 or 5 megohms it will blow the board (not visibly though)

What about the thermal cut-out in the motor? Do a continuity check through the brushes/armature from the the motor socket. If open circuit then it’s gone.
