ParticipantThe door opening and closing operation is assisted by a spring mechanism, one on either side. Both side mechanisms became somehow detached and the door just fell open. I have managed to fix the left hand hinge/spring mechanism, but the one on the right hand side has a plastic piece, an approx 10” long plastic rod-like piece which connects the bottom right hand door hook to the spring, the spring then attaches to the rear of the dishwasher. It is this plastic rod that is broken. Can you help me? The markings on the stickers just on the inside lip of the door are as follows:
Model No. ADP 259 FWH
Service no. NK9151 101147
*45259151101147* (I think this is a bar code number)
15410Note: I have eventually (from 4 weeks ago) received a reply from a local dealer who now asks me for a serial no. I am reluctant to try and get the built in unit out (awkward due to laminate floor) to see if there is any more info on it.
Any advise will be great. I have already e-mailed your parts address prior to seeing this forum.
Cheers. 😯

You don’t need the serial number Kieth, that is a very common part and we keep them in stock normally, if we don’t have any I can get one within a couple of days for you.
I have recieved the email you sent and I’ll reply to it in the morning when I’m at the office with more details about stock and price etc.

Yes, that is exactly what I am looking for. I also have an email from ces (a reply from ‘spares@ukwhitegoods) offering me the part that they have stock. I will ring them and get it ordered. Thanks for the help, this is a great site, info gleaned from trawling through the forum also helped me fix my fridge freezer problem. Seems easy when you speak to the right people.
Thanks again.November 29, 2004 at 10:35 am #120481Dave_Conway
