hi peeps … I`m new to this game..we got our candy f132 fan assisted oven bout 2 years ago..didnt get the cover with it (too expensive) our element in the oven has gone so instead of binning it and forking out for a new one I`ve decided to get my hands dirty 🙄

questions I`ve found the bit I need i think.. on my instuction it says its a candy f132/3w… and the part i`m looking at is for f132muk or f132wuk ..
wots the muk and wuk bit on about ..
the replacement says it`s manufactured by candy and is rated at 22kw

is 22kw ok for a 3w oven… please help any advice and comment greatfully recieved oh and the part is about 33 quid posted (beter than 200 i was gonna spend on a new one… 🙂

    Re: candy oven

I assume you are talking about the fan element, right?
The numbers you are quoting are model numbers, the M orW refer to the colours of the product (M=Mocca!).
The fan element will certainly not be 22Kw! I think it is 2.2kw and in some Candy ovens they are not so easy to change given the double skin at the back of the oven, whatever you do, ensure the oven is unplugged/ switched off at the cooker point- and ensure no one can turn it on while you are working on it- before removing any panels.

If you cannot get one easily, call me on 01279 658767 on Monday morning and I can get one off to you.

    Re: candy oven

Mark.. thanks for the reply and the help 8) …yep think it`s a double skin at the back was told there should be an access hatch inside the oven itself but no…hope it`s still do`able though ..as for the 2.2kw it may just be a misprint on the site selling the part ..why do they have to complicate things for peeps like me ..W+Muk !!oh yeh and it is the fan element i`m on about ..I`m a novice but if i switch of at the mains and put every thing back were i get it from hope i can save some pennies 🙂

any tips on double skinned at the back ovens would be most welcome 🙂

thanks again Mark..I will strip the oven tomo and mabey give you a ring..Cheers Mark
